At a university career fair, mobile took networking and recruiting to the next level. You see, career fairs, at their core, are mini events. And what better way to engage with your 'event' attendees than with leveraging mobile touchpoints.
During the 3 day event, students used the app to connect with recruiters and companies looking for fresh talent for their current and upcoming programs. These connections were facilitated with user profiles, ongoing communications, and instant updates.
While at the event, students could easily locate visiting companies, read about the company and make 1:1 connections across the 10,000 candidates and typically +400 companies represented.
Across the event, other activations took place like a welcome/social hour for mingling, a company showcase, and exhibition hall. They say, sometimes it's not about what you know, but who you know.
