Some may say “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,” but, sometimes, rules are meant to be broken. This is one of those times.
Picture it. Las Vegas. 2018. Over 3,100 customers, partners, and employees gathering in the 5th largest convention center in the US, the Mandalay Bay, all with the same goal: to learn, collaborate, and become influencers in their own right. The CXApp joined one of its valued partners on their journey to educate its attendees, providing them with the knowledge to understand emerging technologies and prosper in today’s mobile-first and highly competitive business environment.
The CXApp started each attendee’s event journey at point A: the airport. With a Google Map integration, we navigated them straight to their hotel, through the casino, up the escalators, across the convention center, and back again. Phew! What a trip.
Thanks to our integration with Meridian wayfinding technology, attendees were able to engage with physical and digital event touchpoints. Over 200 onsite beacons, scattered throughout the venue, kept everyone on time by quickly guiding them from session to session. We even had the chance to test out a new feature! A live map and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology made it easy to “Find a Friend” in a pinch and foster new business relationships.
With over 127,000 app sessions, this event was definitely one to remember and share! Until next time.
